For sponsored jobs, since you have subscribed to quarterly or annual trade plan, any new lead jobs that match with your trade category expertise, they are sponsored jobs. For applied jobs, if you have expressed express to a job by clicking "I am interested into Job and Chat with Job Creator" button at single job page, the job becomes an "applied job". If the job is both "sponsored job" and "applied job", the job will only appear once at "sponsored job".
